Rachel Fishman is interim chief development officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (the Action Fund). She is responsible for overseeing the strategies and team responsible for fundraising and stewarding the support from individuals, families, and foundation donors at all giving levels. 

Rachel joined PPFA and the Action Fund in 2016 as the vice president, philanthropic planning and foundation relations. In that role, she oversaw the organizations’ foundation fundraising program, communication with top individual supporters, and strategic alignment between program priorities and fundraising opportunities. Before that, she worked in the development department at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for more than 20 years, where she served as the deputy director of development, director of foundation relations, grants manager, and grant writer.
