Care — no matter what.

We are providing all services at this time. It is important that patients do not postpone essential health care, especially abortion services, as delaying abortion care can increase both risks and costs.

We are committed to answering patients’ questions and helping address sexual and reproductive health care needs remotely, when possible. Through video-based telehealth appointments, patients can access needed services with fewer visits or without having to visit a health center at all.

The Planned Parenthood Direct app is also available for patients seeking birth control, emergency contraception, or treatment for urinary tract infections.

Please call us at (877) 200-PPIL [7745] if you would like to speak to a provider about your health concerns or ask about available telehealth options.

The safety of our patients, staff, and community is our top priority.

As an essential health care provider, Planned Parenthood of Illinois is committed to caring for our patients and keeping our team safe and healthy. In an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, we have taken proactive steps to protect our patients and staff, including:

  • a universal masking policy in all health centers, regardless of vaccination status
  • a vaccine mandate for all PPIL staff
  • enacting social distancing measures wherever possible, including limiting the number of patients in our waiting rooms at any one time
  • strengthening and increasing the frequency of our disinfecting and cleaning practices in all PPIL health centers and buildings
  • offering telehealth appointments for select services, so that patients can receive high quality health care from the comfort of home
  • limiting health center access to patients only except for certain circumstances. Please call our contact center to learn if you're allowed a guest for your appointment.

We continue to follow the most current safety guidelines issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Illinois Department of Public Health, and all Executive Orders issued by the Governor.

We encourage everyone to observe proper precautions to protect against COVID-19. Please consult your primary health care provider if you have flu-like symptoms or believe you may be at risk for serious complications from an underlying condition.

If there is anything preventing you from making and keeping an appointment at one of our health centers, please call (877) 200-PPIL [7745] to speak to one of our call center representatives.
