Baltimore, MD – Planned Parenthood of Maryland (PPM) is excited to announce the addition of Laura Galloway, MS, WHNP-BC, to the Leadership Team as Vice President of Clinical Services.  As VP of Clinical Services, Galloway will lead PPM’s health services provision, overseeing all 8 of PPM’s health centers in Maryland to ensure top clinical quality and enforce our high expectations for patient safety.


“As Planned Parenthood of Maryland prepares to welcome even more Marylanders through our doors with the implementation of health care reform, it is vital that we have this key position on our team leading strategic clinical operational improvements,” said PPM President and CEO Jenny Black.  “Laura comes to us with more than 14 years of experience in health care administration, and is herself a practitioner.  We are confident that the high quality, affordable reproductive health care services we provide to women, teens, and families will continue to grow and thrive under her leadership,” she added.


Galloway is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Before joining Planned Parenthood of Maryland, Laura served as the Director for Clinical Services at the National Abortion Federation in Washington, DC, where she designed, implemented and enforced a culture of quality in care.   prior to that, as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in various health care centers across the country and in the Baltimore-Washington area, where she oversaw and led the expansion of reproductive healthcare services.  Galloway is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health and the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals.
