Emergency Contraception

Emergency Contraception also known as "the morning after pill," can be taken to prevent an unplanned pregnancy. If taken within five (5) days, emergency contraception can decrease the chance of pregnancy by about 95%.

The sooner you take it, the more effective it can be so. If you feel that you need it, contact us immediately. Emergency contraception can also be given to you to keep in your medicine cabinet for future use just in case a condom breaks or you engage in unprotected sexual intercourse. For further information on Emergency Contraception, call your nearest Planned Parenthood health center.
