If you have sex standing up will it prevent pregnancy

No! No matter how you have vaginal intercourse, the only way you can prevent pregnancy while doing it is by using birth control.

Some people think that if you’re standing up, gravity will keep sperm from being able to swim “up” to the woman’s egg. These people are wrong. The truth is, standing up won’t do anything to reduce the risk of getting pregnant. When a guy ejaculates during vaginal sex, millions of sperm are propelled into the woman’s vagina. Standing up won’t keep the sperm from reaching the egg. Neither will jumping up and down after sex, douching or rinsing out your vagina after sex, or having sex in the water.
