Planned Parenthood Great Plains (PPGP) is excited to announce a two-day vasectomy clinic coming June 20-21 at its Rogers Health Center. This clinic is one part of PPGP’s ongoing effort to expand access to essential reproductive health care and family planning services. This two-day clinic will offer simple, outpatient vasectomy procedures on a sliding scale basis and accept insurance, ensuring affordability for all patients.

Patients will have a consultation with the provider about this highly effective and permanent form of contraception ahead of the procedure. Patients interested in learning more about scheduling a vasectomy or appointment for other care should visit ppgreatplains.org or call 1-800-230-PLAN.

With a greater than 99% effectiveness rate, a vasectomy is a permanent, non-reversible form of contraception PPGP began offering last year at its Tulsa, Oklahoma health center and has since expanded to offer these kinds of clinics throughout its four-state region which includes Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri.

Located at 1222 W. Poplar Street, PPGP opened the Rogers Health Center in 2021 to meet the growing patient needs throughout the Northwest Arkansas region. PPGP also has a health center in Little Rock and both clinics see patients for a wide range of services including birth control, STI and HIV testing and treatment, emergency contraception (morning-after pill), pregnancy testing and services, gender-affirming care, and primary care.
