As this year’s Pride month comes to a close, we want to take the opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to the LGBTQ+ community 365 days a year. Our support for the LGBTQ+ community does not end with June: it is a year-long, continual commitment that we are proud to continually make.

This month, we will launch a LGBTQ+ Health and Support Resource Guide. This guide celebrates and uplifts the incredible leadership of organizations across the state and region that currently offer gender-affirming health care (GAC) and other LGBTQ+ resources. It also provides information for “Care Beyond New Jersey,” a reflection of how intrastate our work has become. Since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, we have been seeing, on average, 83 out-of-state patients every month, and our mission to provide access to care extends beyond our state borders.

This guide will be a vital resource throughout the year, not just during Pride month. We are so thankful to our health care staff and community partners who provide essential care to the LGBTQ+ community, and we are honored to celebrate and share these resources in our guide.

We also launched our "Pride: In Your Words" campaign this month, asking our staff and supporters a simple question: "What does Pride mean to you?” Read the responses here!

At Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey, we're proud to provide supportive, high-quality health care for ALL our patients. This June, and every day of the year, we honor and celebrate the diversity, strength, humanity, and power of LGBTQ+ communities.
