Spill The T.E.A!

PPNCSNJ’s peer education program, Spill The T.E.A! (Teen Education and Advocacy), offers a unique opportunity for high school students in Trenton and Mercer County to break down barriers to accessing quality, comprehensive sexual health education in their communities. We empower teens to demonstrate leadership, serve as valuable sources of sexual health information, and gain personal and professional development skills.

Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 school year! Click below to apply now and scroll down to learn more about Spill The T.E.A!

About the Program

Our program is dedicated to youth development and engagement, striving to shape the whole person through various learning opportunities and collaborative community partnerships.

Under the guidance of our Youth Development Manager, our teens participate in a 5-day summer orientation where they are trained in core sexual and reproductive health topics. They continue to meet bi-weekly throughout the school year to receive training on additional topics, create interactive presentations for peers, and strategize ways to engage with and support their communities.

T.E.A. In Action

Our peer educators play a vital role in their communities by helping peers access sexual and reproductive health information and health care. They also have the opportunity to participate in community outreach events, including our award-winning Teen Conference—an experiential day of learning led by teens, for teens. In recognition of their passionate efforts, teens in the program receive a monthly stipend.
