On September 10, join PPSNE, friends and supporters for a live viewing of the All Access Concert from Cleveland.

On Saturday, September 10, 2016, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) will take part in a nationwide event calling for abortion access for all people. As part of a larger movement, PPSNE will live-stream the All Access main-event program from Cleveland, Ohio. The event at 101 Art Threads in downtown New Haven begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The anchor event in Cleveland will feature a show stopping headlining performance by five-time Grammy-nominated artist Sia and a performance by eight-time Latin Grammy Award-winning musical artist Natalia Lafourcade. Leslie Jones, the star of Ghostbusters and Saturday Night Live, is a featured comedian.

“All Access gives each of us an opportunity to speak up in support of abortion access and the people who need it,” said Kafi Rouse, Vice President of Public Relations & Marketing with Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. “We invite people to join us for an unforgettable event filled with solidarity and fun.”

All Access is a powerful cultural event featuring simultaneous concerts in five cities. The events are hosted by leading reproductive rights and justice organizations who want to speak up and support anyone who needs abortion access. For those who cannot attend an event in one of the five cities, there are more than 30 smaller events in cities all across the country this weekend – including New Haven – that will show abortion rights supporters are visible, active and willing to speak up.

“We have taken many positive steps toward equity and reproductive rights, but our work is far from done,” said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “All Access is an event that unites abortion access supporters and shows this country what is possible when each of us can choose our own life path – including what our families look like.”

This can’t-miss event is free and open to the public and includes complimentary food and drink. No reservations are required, but space is limited. The event begins at 7 p.m. at 101 Art Threads, 118 Court Street, New Haven, CT 06511.
