PPSNE is "Keeping You Healthy from Head to Toe" by treating common illnesses, seasonal allergies and skin conditions at Providence Health Center in Rhode Island.

(Providence, R.I.) —Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) is providing new health care services at the Providence Health Center in Rhode Island, located at 111 Point Street in Providence. We are treating common illnesses such as colds, the flu, ear infections, sinus infections, seasonal allergies and strep throat. The Planned Parenthood health center opened in Providence in 1932 and is expanding its services to better serve the community.

"PPSNE has been dedicated to the Providence community for 82 years. Offering new health care services demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality care to the women, men and young people in Rhode Island. Our patients can see the same medical providers they have come to know and trust for their reproductive health care appointments," said Judy Tabar President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. "We are growing and it is truly exciting. From bronchitis to breast exams, Planned Parenthood is committed to keeping our patients healthy, head to toe."

The Providence Health Center is diagnosing and treating a variety of common illnesses, such as the common cold, acute bronchitis, ear infections, strep throat, influenza and sinus infections. Later this spring, PPSNE will add additional services which include the treatment of common skin conditions like acne, fungal infections, insect bites and poison ivy. The PPSNE Providence Health Center will also provide work and school physical exams, treatment of gastrointestinal conditions such as constipation, reflux and hemorrhoids, and musculoskeletal complaints, such as back pain and carpal tunnel.
