Abortion services will resume in Milwaukee and Madison on September 18th
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) announced the expanded availability of birth control and other family planning health care services at the health centers located at 3706 Orin Rd in Madison, and 435 S Water St in Milwaukee that previously provided abortion services. In the wake of the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, PPWI is working to ensure people have access to the health care services they need to take charge of their health.
Today, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul announced his intent to challenge the enforceability of Wisconsin’s 173 year old criminal ban on abortion that criminalizes abortion at all stages of pregnancy without exception for rape, incest or the health of the woman.
