Education that meets your needs.
The Education Department at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers believes that knowledge – free from oppression and inequity — empowers people to invest in their well-being. Our comprehensive sex education provides the information that people of all ages and identities need to make informed sexual and reproductive health choices.
Why is sex education important?
Sex education has positive effects, including increasing young people's knowledge and improving their attitudes related to sexual and reproductive health and behaviors. Contrary to popular belief, it does not increase sexual activity, risky behavior, or STI/HIV infection rates.

COVID-19 Response
The health and safety of our students, patients, and staff is our top priority.
In an effort to limit the spread of communicable infections like COVID-19, here's what we are actively doing:
- Offering education & training services virtually; contact us for details. You can use the Education Program Request Form, send an email to [email protected], or give us a call at 314.531.7526 ext 332.
- Providing virtual resources and e-learning packets when in-person and live virtual services are unattainable for students or your organization.
- Adhering to public health guidelines during any in-person interaction. Participants are always welcome to wear masks during our sessions. If staff are symptomatic we send a substitute instructor or contact you about a reschedule.
